Paulina
Czesc (chesht)! My name is Paulina. Warsaw is the capital of my country. It was completely rebuilt after World War II, but it looks like everything did a long time ago! I live on a farm away from the city. My sister, Tesia, and I like to make Polish folk art paper cut-outs called wycinanki (Vee-chee-non-key). We layer multiple colors of paper and fold and cut them into beautiful shapes. The wycinanki used to be used to decorate houses and were given as gifts. We have some very beautiful ones framed in our house that were made by my great grandmother. My grandmother is teaching us how to make wycinanki roosters like the ones on our farm! Do you know where I live? Poland
